SiSi Tran earned her B.A. from the University of Oklahoma, M.S. from Texas A&M University, and Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. She teaches courses in Introductory Psychology, Social Psychology, and Interpersonal Relationships.

Ms. Tran’s current research interests include the examination of individual differences in how people perceive relationship partners and events, how relationship information is processed and organized, how such knowledge and associated expectations influence dyadic behaviors, and how expectations formed from past relationships interact with current interpersonal situations to predict relationship quality. Her research methods include a mixture of longitudinal assessments, behavioral observation techniques, and laboratory-based experimental research designs.
